Pete Buongiorno, President
Before coming to BARR, Pete was involved in industrial sales with the world’s largest manufacturer of electronic components and printed circuit board packaging devices. His experience in the office and in the field has prepared him well for leading the many areas at BARR.
We at BARR want to satisfy our customer’s expectations. We want to give them solutions. We look at the whole job. Sometimes it’s not the first answer that works from a cost/benefit analysis. Sometimes it’s not a simple answer to the equipment needs of our clients.
Pete has 19-years of sales and management experience in generating high customer service levels. Pete delivers a team to work on the best solutions to maintenance programs, service, equipment replacements, Direct Digital Controls and other Energy Management Strategies. He oversees the sales, marketing, and field operations.
His experience always leads to a straightforward approach by recommending the best solution to a customer’s air conditioning needs. He fixes problems. He finds solutions.
Pete earned his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from California State University Fullerton.
He has also completed fundamental and intermediate courses for TELETROL and Andover Direct Digital Control Systems.
Mike Buongiorno, Vice President of Field Operations
Before joining Barr Engineering, Mike was involved for over ten years with one of the largest commercial concrete contractors in Southern California.
As the Vice President of Projects at BARR, Mike has twelve years of experience with project management and hands on supervision.
Mike is knowledgeable on all aspects of air conditioning construction in existing buildings, including sheet metal, chilled water and hot water piping, refrigeration piping, electrical rigging and setting equipment. When someone sees it as a problem, Mike sees it as an opportunity. Constantly learning and finding solutions to problems.
Mike earned his degree in Construction Management from California State University Long Beach and holds both a C-20 mechanical license and a C-10 electrical license for the State of California.

Arthur H. Moore III, Sales Manager
Art is responsible for managing Barr Engineering’s direct sales force, which leads our company’s efforts in new business and new customer development. He has a commitment to improve overall customer service in an industry that offers many levels of good and bad service.
Art’s 25 years of experience including fourteen with Honeywell and five
with Johnson Controls, as both a Sales Manager and Branch Manager. For 25 years
he has been developing customer relationships and understands what it is to be
committed to bringing value to customers.
We are fortunate to have Art and his team gains a customer’s trust with excellent communications in every phase.
Art received professional training at the New York Institute of Technology and has continued his management education by attending management seminars provided by Honeywell and Johnson Controls.
